Didactic exploitation of the francophonie in the islands of the Indian Ocean

This diploma thesis, Didactic exploitation of the francophonie on the islands of the Indian Ocean, resulted from insufficient outcomes of a questionnaire focusing on the francophonie and francophone facts of the overseas territories located in the Indian Ocean. The diploma thesis consists of three main parts which are subsequently divided into subchapters. The first part explains the choice, focus and targets of the questionnaire and provides its evaluation as well. The theoretical part aims at clarifying and defining receptive and productive competence from a didactic viewpoint with regard to language level A2 and B1, given by CEFRL. The practical part follows with a description of created worksheets always containing exercises that aim firstly at receptive competence- reading, and then at productive competence- writing. Texts together with exercises focus on geographical facts, culture and tradition, language situation and language oddities of the following French overseas territories in the Indian Ocean: Réunion, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles, Comoros, and Mauritius. Specifics of teaching of French as a foreign language of adolescents and adults students at the beginner level A1

The aim of this thesis is to analyze, from general didactic perspective, specifics of French language teaching of adolescent as well as adult students at the beginner level. More specifically, socalled FLE teaching within informal educational environment of a particular language school in Prague is examined. In order to do so, this thesis is divided into two sections. In the first theoretical section, the compilation method is employed, resulting in detailed analysis of selected didactic themes related to the defined aim of the thesis. The second, supporting section consists of specially compiled survey analysis, which focuses on themes covered at the first theoretical part. It is worth noting that perspectives of students are captured as a result of the survey analysis. The major contribution of this thesis is a comprehensive theoretical and practical view on not yet separately compiled methodology of teaching of French language of beginning, predominantly adult students, in the context of Czech informal educational environment.

Title: Using elements of art education in teaching German as a foreign language (with a focus on drama pedagogy and work with picture book "Queen of Colour" by Jutta Bauer) Summary: My thesis is focused on integration of aesthetic elements into a German language lesson. Such elements help to improve students' language resources and language skills and they also help to develop their personality. The subject of my work is relation between the language and art - particular art education, namely dramatic, musical, and literary - partly - art education and their application in a foreign language lesson. This thesis is based on the theory of drama pedagogy and on analysis of an authentic foreign language literary text, namely on the picture book genre. The topics in the practical section are taken from artistic sources and were tested in particular sample lessons. Communication Channels and Marketing Strategies of the Herbář Tv Serie (With Emphasis on Social Networks)

The diploma thesis focuses on communication and marketing strategies of the Herbář TV show. The main aim of the theoretical part is to introduce the topic therefore it contains the characteristics and categorization of the show and its position among other culinary programs. It also summarizes the basic theory of internet communication, social networks and marketing. The methodological part presents research questions, goals and research methods. Research variables are explained here. The practical part includes the research itself. It aims to map the communication channels of Herbář with the help of descriptive analysis, quantitative content analysis and qualitative analytical-comparative methods. It also aims to describe in which ways and in what language the show communicates with its audience and what type of content it offers. The work summarizes which marketing trends can be traced in the case of the show with a special focus on social media. All the findings are supported by specific examples. This bachelor thesis delas with the linguistic and stylistic analysis of x texts of one of the internet magazines for women. Theoretical part of the thesis presents characteristic features of the journalistic style, formation and development of the internet and the shift of the traditional printed journalism into the online form. There are presented the women's topics and their position in the world of media. The practical part includes the analysis of language and style of one internet magazine for women. The texts are analyzed from several language levels, from morphology, syntax and lexicology . Certain attention is focused on the graphic form of this magazine and on the author's communication with the reader. All knowledge of the analysis is evidenced by numerous examples.
